There are a lot of Battle Royale Games on the market. But I have listed the top 5 based on my personal preference. They are

• Apex Legends

1.Apex Legends 

Apex Legends is a free-to-play hero battle royale game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. The games available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. This game also allows Cross-Platform play.

There's also a mobile version of this game, which is in beta version right now.it is planned to be released in 2022.

This game is inspired by the Titanfall series. The game consists of two modes at present. One of which is Battle Royale Mode in which 60 players as Solos, Duo and Trios. Each character or legend has its unique abilities. the objective is to survive till the end. The other mode consists of a 3vs3 game with multiple rounds. And the team who wins 3 rounds are considered the winners. Overall a good game if you like fast-paced shooters.

2.Call of Duty: Warzone

Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale video game for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows. This game is a part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and is developed by Infinity Ward and Raven Software. It is published by Activision.

Warzone has a big number player count in a lobby with 150 players, which increases to 200 in special modes. Unlike other battle royale games, this game has a money system to buy killstreaks and other utilities. The game supports Solo, Duo and also Squads. This game also has cross-platform support.

3.PlayerUnkown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG)

PlayerUnkown’s Battlegrounds is an online multiplayer Battle Royale game developed and published by PUBG corporation. The game is inspired by a Japanese movie released in 2000 named Battle Royale. The games are available on both PC and also on mobile. the game was first released on steam. Then after seeing the success, it was released on mobile.

The games have a 100 player lobby, and numbers change when the map becomes smaller. At the start, players are made to drop on an island and find weapons and utilities .the last team or person to survive gets the Chicken Dinner(Win). Overall this is a bit slow-paced game and is a really fun game to play with your friends.

4.Fortnite: Battle Royale

Fortnite is a game developed by Epic Games. First, it had only Save The World mode. At that time, many battle royale games were released and were the trend. this gave the company the to make a battle royale game with the Fortnite engine. the game turned out very well for a game developed in few months. this is available for Xbox, Playstation, PC and also for mobile users. This supports cross-platform play.

The  Battle Royale version has a 100 player lobby and has to drop down on an island like every other battle royale game. In Fortnite, the map gets updated every season with a cool storyline and has cool skins and emotes. And also the building mechanism makes it so hard to play the game but once you get used to it, it's really fun playing the game with friends.

5.Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout 

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a platform battle royale game developed by Mediatonic and published by Devolver Digital. It is available for PlayStation 4 and also for Microsoft Windows. It is also planned to be released on other platforms. This game is inspired by the game shows everyone loved such as Takeshi's castle and Wipeout.

Although this is not a shooter like other battle royale games, this has 60 players and a variety of obstacle courses with a different type of levels. Many different levels are also added to the game every season. It is a really fun game and a stress buster.
